Lead Recruiter for Biotech Company – Starting Pay – DOE 

3 day per week on site / 2 days per week remote


As a Client Lead Recruiter, you’ll successfully manage, prioritize and close searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks and metrics. You’ll draw on your extensive knowledge of the talent acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers and People Operations business partners as you build out client benches.  You are exceptional at candidate generation, client/account management, organization, and prioritization and leading Talent Acquisition (TA) initiatives and other members of the team.

You’ll partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing and assessment approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations.  You will recruit passive candidates and gauge both technical skills and chemistry for the right fit, and to understand candidate motivation.  Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews of candidates, demonstrating ability to anticipate hiring manager preferences.  You’ll recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company.

You’ll possess the ability to define and develop sourcing strategies with deliverables, timelines and a formal tracking process and will build and maintain an ongoing pipeline of qualified potential candidates to manage incremental hiring requirements.  You’ll stay current on the company’s organization structure, policies, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.  In addition, you’ll work to develop an event recruiting strategy including conference attendance, job fairs and careers events.  You will also lead other TA team members including, Source and work utilize market insight tools and competitive intelligence to develop continuous pipelines.  Ensures smooth onboarding process from offer acceptance to day one, working closely with the Training & Development Manager.

This position reports to the Director, Talent Acquisition and on-site presence is required 75% of week.



  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree and or equivalent experience


  • 7+ years of corporate and/or search firm progressive technical recruiting experience with a focus on passive candidate generation
  • Experience with a variety of sourcing plans and tools for technical, biotech and leadership roles
  • Ability to proactively network and establish effective working relationships, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering candidates to hiring leaders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple searches, projects and client relationships
  • Strong consulting skills and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment – leading others
  • Strong communication, organizational, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete projects within deadlines
  • Solid knowledge of People (HR) policies, labor laws and best practices
  • Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g. structured, competency based and behavioral)
  • Familiarity with HR databases, applicant tracking systems, candidate management systems, sourcing tools, tracking and managing as well as MS Office Applications
  • Ability to use psychometric tests and other assessment tools
  • Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn, Glassdoor, etc.
