The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing federal and multi-state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, trusts and exempt organizations.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preparing tax returns for clients<\/li>\n<li>Perform tax research<\/li>\n<li>Resolve tax notices from IRS or other taxing authorities<\/li>\n<li>Assist in federal, state and local tax audits<\/li>\n<li>Prepare GAAP basis financial statements<\/li>\n<li>Strong accounting and analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Experience with tax research<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe products<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in accounting and major tax software, including QuickBooks<\/li>\n<li>Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking ability<\/li>\n<li>Effective verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 2-4 years experience in public accounting, Bachelors in Accounting<\/li>\n<li>Current licensed CPA or CPA candidate<\/li>\n<li><strong>Resume Required<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are committed to being the leading CPA firm on the Central Coast, and with offices in Monterey, Salinas, and Hollister, our firm reaches across industries to help individuals and companies by providing world-class accounting, business advising, and tax services.
