Pay Rate $17.25
M-F 7 am to 3:30 with occasionally over time.
Under close supervision, transfers material, equipment, kits and supplies required for efficient material flow through production/assembly areas. Performs routine manual and clerical duties in material areas such as boxing, shipping, receiving, storing and issuing materials, parts, supplies and equipment. Receives material, checks against documentation for proper nomenclature, identification and quantity; sorts, counts, checks received goods, raw materials, finished or semi-finished parts and subassemblies; stores articles in proper location according to identifying factors; routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas. Pulls and fills orders for production. Physically transfers material to assembly work stations, maintains bench stock and handles completed assemblies between work areas or cost centers. Keeps stock in orderly arrangement.
Locates materials, expedites and transfers parts within the facility that may be required for completion of assemblies. Utilizes small hand tools, proportional scales and may operate material handling equipment including pallet handlers, skids, hand trucks and the like. Requires basic reading, writing and math skills.
Experience and Training: 0+ years’ experience. Familiarity with parts and stock items is desirable. Valid driver’s license with good driving record may be required. Job may require extended periods of sitting or standing; occasionally requires the ability to lift components weighing up to 40 lbs. Shipping and receiving experience is a plus
