The ICS Clerk II is primarily responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the Inventory Control department. This position will also support QA WIP / Label Control functions and complete clerical tasks as needed. This position reports to the Scheduling and Materials Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintains the integrity of the company inventory through proper ERP transactions, reporting inventory discrepancies in a timely manner while following corporate guidelines
- Quarantines and tracks disposition of any expired or short-dated raw materials that require retest or scrap from inventory
- Issues materials and transfers finished goods in the ERP system, performs WIP Receipts and WIP Inspections
- Moves raw materials, in-process supplies, WIP components and finished goods to specified areas/departments based on Work Order requirements or product disposition
- Generates controlled finished sub-component labels and In Process Tracking (IPT) labels as needed
- Review WIP receipt records for completeness and release, and for QC rejects
- Check Work Orders are completed and accurate
- Reviews analytical records and any supporting documentation to ensure compliance with cGMPs and company policies and procedures
- Works closely with Production Staff to complete any assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner with as little disruption to production as possible
- Ensure all means of communication with regards to Operations are acted upon in a timely fashion
- Scans documents into computer system; verifies and confirms legibility of the scanned documents
- Saves documents in appropriate location under specified names

EDUCATION
- High school Diploma or equivalent preferred
KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
- Fundamental and working knowledge of ERP computer application system preferred
- Fundamental and working knowledge of computers, including MS Office applications (i.e. MS Word, MS Excel, )
- Minimum 2 years prior accounting experience preferred
- Minimum 1 year prior manufacturing inventory experience preferred
- Good human relations and oral/written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
