Pay Range: $25.00-$30.00/hr., Depending upon qualifications and experience

We are looking for a Grading Foreman to coordinate daily operations and
oversee construction projects. Work as the point of reference for ownership requests and tasks.
We are looking for an individual with leadership skills and extensive experience with grading
experience that can direct the work of others and make quick decisions. You must be well organized and favor safety above everything else
Essential Functions/Qualifications:
- Plan, implement, and manage in accordance with priorities and goals
- Monitor and supervise the excavation phase of a construction project
- Ensures the job completes on schedule and in accordance with the set specifications.
- Learn to effectively implement day-to-day schedule/coordination to ensure field team is
working efficiently and effectively - Collaborate with hired contractors/subcontractors
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Manage laborers and trucking resources
- GPS and laser setups, survey and plan reading knowledge
- Daily gathering and processing of timesheets
- Reads, understands and interprets blue prints and specifications
Resolve problems when they arise - Verify all equipment is properly working and maintained according to manufactures
suggestions - Any other duties as assigned by Manager
Job Requirements:
Education/Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years required
- Experience with all types of heavy equipment for moving dirt and performing site work
- Experience of all areas of site work, including clearing, demolition, excavation, grading,
compaction, erosion control and finish grading
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Decision making / problem solving
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Organization and leadership skills
- Plan, organize and prioritize workload
- Work with minimal Supervision
- Interact well with others
- Bi-lingual (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Stand/Sit for an extensive period of time
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
- Perform tasks using standard computer equipment
Work Environment:
- Limited noise level
- Outdoor climate – extreme heat and cold temperatures
- Monday-Friday (Occasional Weekends required)
Personal Protective Equipment Required:
- Side shield safety glasses, safety vest, head/ear protection and proper footwear when at
construction sites
